YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, Russia -- The LNG plant operated by Sakhalin Energy has now produced 50 million tonnes of LNG. Since February 2009, Sakhalin Energy has supplied 769 cargoes of LNG. The bulk of the product has been shipped to Japan and South Korea. Also, Sakhalin-2 LNG was delivered to China, India, Thailand and Taiwan. The output of both trains of Sakhalin Energy LNG plant is already sold under long-term contracts.
